Where Can I Buy Gold Or Silver Coins For My IRA?

OK, I’m moving slowly but surely on this and now I’d like to find out where I can buy precious metals coins for investing. Well, you can’t go directly to to the U.S. Mint for instance, although you could learn a lot about investment coins there and they do have links to authorized dealers (for U.S. precious metals coins only of course).

You will need to go to an authorized precious metals dealer and I’ve found some for you to check out. Now to be clear I’m not endorsing any of these dealers here. I’m just listing some that I’ve found and that appear to be worth investigating.

Monex
Monex is a family owned business (in their third generation) and have been in the precious metals coin business since 1967. To me, it’s a good sign that they’ve been in business that long. Plus they claim that 80% of their business is repeat business, which, if true, is certainly a good thing.

Regal Assets
Regal Assets has a really great website. I spent a bunch of time there learning all about gold and silver coins for IRA investing. And they too look pretty trustworthy with a lot of good reviews and testimonials.

USAGold
USAGold is another firm that’s been around a long time, having been founded back in the 1970s. One thing I like about their site is that they have a wealth of free information there to educate the novice about investing in precious metals. I also note that they have a BBB A+ rating with zero complaints.

APMEX
APMEX looks to be another reputable dealer for precious metals. It’s interesting that they do very little advertising and rely on recommendations from satisfied clients to build their business. They are also very straightforward with their pricing. Also, they too are a BBB accredited business with an A+ rating.

My recommendation is to check out the websites of all of these dealers and not only learn about how they do business, but also take advantage of the wealth of free information they have on investing in precious metals. Let it simmer for a bit until you’re ready to contact one of them. Over time, I’m going to do exactly that and see which one I’d like to possibly do business with. I really hope that I find that at least one of them is interested in my goals for enhancing my IRA with gold and silver coins and just doesn’t want to sell me stuff.

GoldLine
GoldLine has been around since 1960 and they appear to have a pretty distinguished history as a dealer. Also they talk a lot about leading the industry in best practices and self-regulation, which should be a comforting thing for the prospective investor.
